Treasurer’s Report-read by Angie Gregory and approved.
-We discussed end of season cheer banquet for HS and JR teams. Moe’s will provide the food/drinks and Cindy Gee will call and get information and pricing.
-Board approved all cheerleaders meals will be paid for. Family prices are as follows: Under age of 5-free Elem kids-$5 and all other $10 per person.
-Trustee’s will email parents regarding banquet and will ask them to RSVP prior so that we can order the food. Trustee’s will order the cake from Sam’s.
-HS parents will serve JR and JR parents will serve HS.
-Board approved two trophies to awarded per team- MVP and Coaches award-Trustee to order.
-Anyone who has cheered all three years for JR Spartans will receive a medal.
-Jr Comp awards will be awarded during the sideline awards.
-Cindy/Lisa will collect money at HS banquet and Ann/Angie will collect money for food at the JR banquet.
-HS comp team will be competing at the state level this Friday 11/11/2016- Board has approved $8 for meal per cheerleader and coach.
-Board voted and approved to purchase 17 state comp shirts.
-Uniform return will be Monday 11/14/2016 from 6-9PM at SPHS- Trustee will collect uniforms with help.Claudia to email parents regarding return of uniform.
-Claudia emailed all JR coaches and asked that their SPSCC equipment be returned at the meeting or this week.
-We discussed doing an inventory list next year for all coaches for the equipment.
-Speakers-6th and comp team have new speakers- 7th needs repaired- not sure about 8th grade.
-JR Dance feedback- we will work on pick up process for next year and having more chaperones outside during dismissal. Also, we will discuss how students should be picked up early for next year.
We will discuss youth at a later date due to Trustee not being at the meeting due to illness.
-Bus will transport all cheerleaders to all away games.
-19 Varsity and 10 JV Cheerleaders
-Board discussed having meals at the pregame with basketball players. Coach Edwards to email Coach Davis regarding cost and if he would allow us to do this.
WE WILL NOT HAVE A DECEMBER CHEER CLUB MEETING DUE TO BANQUETS AND HOLIDAYS. WE WILL RESUME IN JANUARY 2017.
